Individuals, groups, businesses and clubs are encouraged to display their scarecrows for all to enjoy. All registered entries will receive special recognition.

FRONT OF OAK MIDDLE SCHOOL

ANNUAL SPIRIT OF SHREWSBURY TOWN EXPO -10 am – 4 pm:

Over 100 exhibitors and thousands of visitors, the Town Expo is truly a celebration of town, civic, educational, religious organizations and its business community, organized by the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival Committee.

ANNUAL SPIRIT OF SHREWSBURY CRAFT FAIR – 10 am – 4 pm:

Approximately 30 craft vendors from all over Massachusetts will be showcasing their one-of-a-kind items. This is a great opportunity to beat the holiday rush and find unique, personal gifts for those special people in your life,.

LIVE FROM THE OAK STREET EXPO – 10 am – 12 Noon:

Shrewsbury Media Connection will broadcast live with interviews from various vendors and community groups participating in the Town Expo.

12pm Noon Patriotic Sing along! Stand where your are and Sing

12:30 any age Costume parade! prizes will be given to age groups, space 6ft apart and march with a parent around the front lawn! Meet behind the face painting table on the left side of the Sherwood school building.

INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATION -10 am – 4 pm:

Shrewsbury High School Robotics Team, FIRST Robotics Team 467 will operate student built robots. Team members will explain how they are designed and how they work with hands on demonstration, demonstration under the awning of Oak Middle School.

Shewsbury’s GOT TALENT – Virtual This year! Talent Show competition organized by the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival Committee & India Society of Worcester for children to showcase their talent in singing, dancing, acting, juggling, magic, martial arts, playing an instrument, standup comedy, impressions, etc.

Age groups include:

Little Stars (2-3 years)

Elementary (4-8 years)

Tweens (9-12 years)

Teens (13-17 years)

18+ New category

NOTE: Solo performers only, no duos or groups. One entry per child. Maximum performance time is 3 minutes. Top three performers in each age group will be awarded a prize.

Performers must pre-register no later than September 8th, 10th Video must be in, and 18th of September is the broadcast date on ISW Facebook page: http://iswonline.org

Spirit of Shrewsbury PARADE – Organized by the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival Committee

 This year is Virtual Parade! 

Send your request to participate to Shrewsburyfunfest@gmail.com and we will send you the link to upload your video of Your organization in a parade Pause.. ??What do you want to say, dance, sing, show us a marching movement, play a song, Look at the camera, have a banner or sign or introduce yourselves! Be creative and safe! regular rules apply – parading must be done on a street! Ideally in Shrewsbury, so that it looks live and we put all the videos together and get a string of parade-in-waiting fun!
